About Us
Dr. Marrielle Myers
Dr. Myers, owner of M Squared Math Solutions, was born and raised in Durham, NC. She fell in love with math at an early age and excelled in mathematics throughout high school. After earning a B.S. in Mathematics from Hampton University, she went on to earn her Masters and Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Myers is an assistant professor of elementary mathematics education. She also fosters students' love for mathematics via one-on-one and small group tutoring. In addition to her work with K-12 students and future teachers, Dr. Myers has traveled around the world leading mathematics workshops and doing curriculum evaluation. She has developed and taught courses for the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP) and currently partners with a number of schools and districts in the metro-Atlanta area. Her dedication, passion, and patience make her a recognized leader in mathematics education.
